  CROOKS! They're all nothing more than crooks... I remember how back in 2015, those dirty no-good con artists double charged me. They were somehow able to obtain access to my credit card when I used my debit card to pay for gas at the pump. Perhaps the blame should go to Chase for a security vulnerability, yet somehow paying with my debit card AND pin number resulted in a duplicate charge on my credit card (which I had to cancel to avoid that fraudulent charge). Ever since that unpleasant experience I no longer trust electronic payment at the pump. I always go inside to pay for gas with cash. Not all gas stations are criminal like Marathon, but not every shark will eat you... Subsequently, I revisited this same Marathon, this time paying upfront in cash rather than revealing my banking or credit information electronically to these white collar criminals to hack. Guess what the bastids did! They set up the pump to disallow me to select fuel grade, forcing me to use premium. "Oh but they have free air for your tires!" Lovely! Too bad that most of the time their garbage air pump is not operable. I hate this place so much that even if they ever did manage to repair the tire pump, I would boycott even their "free" air.
